SLMFCE 12: Submission site

The Spanish Society for Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science (SLMFCE) and the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Murcia are organizing the 12th SLMFCE Congress, to be held in Murcia from May 4 to 7, 2027.

We invite submissions of papers and symposium proposals (in English or Spanish) to the following sections:

- Logic, history and philosophy of logic

- Philosophy of language

- Philosophy of mind and epistemology

- Philosophy and methodology of science

- History of science

- Science, technology and society

- Argumentation

- The philosophy of Quassim Cassam

Contributed papers and symposium submissions:

Contributed paper abstracts must not exceed 500 words.

The same person may appear as a co-author in more than one proposal, but may only present (and submit) once

Symposium abstracts must include:

- A justification of the relevance of the symposium (max. 500 words).

- A short abstract of each speaker’s presentation (max. 500 words each).

Each symposium must include a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 speakers, plus a coordinator.

The maximum time allocated for symposia will be 2 hours, with a maximum of 5 participants.

Authors will be notified of acceptance before February 2027.

Please note that if accepted, the submitted text will be the version published in the conference proceedings.

3. If you are submitting a contributed paper in plain text, you don't need to upload a file. Do it if you have symbols, images, etc. and refer to this file in the initial abstract box

4. If you have coauthors, list them in the abstract

5. If you are submitting a symposium, use the first abstract box for the general overview of the symposium and upload the speakers' abstracts as a separate file
